Switzerland's largest banks are to charge fees and pay negative interest rates on Swiss franc deposits made by rivals to encourage them to limit their holdings of the currency. To shield the economy from deflation and a recession, the Swiss National Bank set a floor of 1.20 francs per euro in September 2011 after safe-haven buyers anxious about the euro zone debt crisis pushed the franc close to parity with the euro. چهار شنبه 15 آذر 1391برچسب:, :: 16:45 :: نويسنده : Afshin Zein
A failure by Congress and the White House to reach a deal over spending cuts and tax increases by the end of the year would blow a hole in state budgets and cause a likely recession, a bipartisan group of governors said after meeting with President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden at the White House. سه شنبه 14 آذر 1391برچسب:, :: 12:37 :: نويسنده : metallica

The speed by which oceans' acid levels have risen has caught scientists off-guard.Oceans' rising acid levels have emerged as one of the biggest threats to coral reefs, acting as the "osteoporosis of the sea" and threatening everything from food security to tourism to livelihoods. As carbon dioxide continues to build up in the atmosphere as a result of burning fossil fuels, the seas absorb much of it.The full effects have yet to be felt. یک شنبه 12 آذر 1391برچسب:, :: 22:27 :: نويسنده : Afshin Zein

We've been hearing promises and seeing demos of flexible displays for a while now. So long that it seems as though the tech may never arrive, but a new report is saying that we could actually see flexible displays as soon as next year, and that Samsung could be leading the pack, at least that's what the BBC is saying. Samsung is obviously not the only company working on the technology. LG, Philips, Sharp, Sony and Nokia are all working on flexible displays, but the word is that Samsung will be the first to actually ship the displays in products, and it could happen next year. According to the report, LG has already begun mass producing flexible e-ink displays, but Samsung could be the first to make a flexible smartphone display, likely using Samsung's favorite OLED tech.
Of course, we still don't have flexible motherboards, or flexible batteries, so don't expect fully flexible phones just yet. But, flexible displays would definitely end that whole problem that we saw with the iPhone 4/4S, and that the Nexus 4 is having with cracked glass. Flexible displays are said to be virtually unbreakable.

The United States has been this route before with Egypt. The US is praising Egypt's leader for championing Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts but is also expressing concern over his commitment to democracy at home.An Islamist-led assembly finalized a new constitution early on Friday aimed at transforming Egypt and paving the way for an end to a crisis that erupted when President Mohamed Mursi gave himself sweeping new powers last week. PhotoToaster PhotoToaster has long been a favorite of mine with easy-to-use basic editing tools, tons of effects you can preview by tapping your finger, and other handy tools to enhance parts of your images for the best look possible. When you're finished tweaking your photo, you can save it, e-mail it, send it via text message or to one of many social networking sites, and even make it into a physical post card. Angry Birds Star Wars While an Angry Birds game might be an obvious choice for a list like this one, Angry Birds Star Wars really impressed me beyond what I thought it could using more than just a "Star Wars" backdrop. New "Star Wars"-themed bird types, music from the movies, and intricately designed levels make this game an excellent choice, even without the popular gaming franchise that came before it.

Is Obama worthy of his Nobel Peace Prize? To our deepest regret, current U.S. President Barack Obama, supposedly democratic and humanist, did not support the admission of Palestine at the UN. This constitutes a dramatic political mistake. It will harm Israel, which grows more and more isolated on the international scene and constitutes, once again, an equally unforgivable personal moral failing from this Nobel Peace Prize winner – an honor that he received too soon and which has indeed turned out not to be merited. Unlike the political and diplomatic courage showed by two of his predecessors, President Jimmy Carter with the Camp David accords and President Bill Clinton with the Oslo accords, Barack Obama only serves– in this particular case– the short-term vision of an absurd and inconsistent Realpolitik. We could say– without wanting to offend anyone – that he is blindly serving Israel, a country that refuses to listen to legitimate Palestinian demands. The U.S. president is making a colossal strategic mistake. While he persists in depriving Palestinians from their legitimate state, he takes the risk of encouraging war – a bloody and endless war – rather than peace. The irony, for Nobel Peace Prize winner, is huge. درباره وبلاگ The ladder of success is not crowed آخرین مطالب پيوندها
